Responsibilities:

? May supervise staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary.
? Manages the implementation and administration of Waste Management programs within program guidelines; generally operates with little or no supervision and receives direction on sensitive topics and issues when necessary.
? Interprets and applies Waste Management policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.
? Support all other functions to achieve high level of Waste Management performance by providing training and coaching.
? Ensure that all incidents are reported, investigated and follow-up actions are implemented.
? Lead regular review of Waste Management procedures, and ensure their compliance.
? Lead Waste Management promotion and publicity.
? Report Waste Management performance to Asia/Globe required.
? Other responsibilities as assigned by the HSE Director, Asia.

Qualifications:

? Env. or Chemical Engineering degree, experience in paints or related chemical industry preferred.
? Above 8 years working experience in waste water treatment/solid waste management in multiple national company.
? Conversant with the Waste Management system of work and the influencing skills in order to deliver the results.
? Providing consultation and advice various environmental issues;
? Keep up with the new legislation of the country and the new initiatives of the company.
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
? Must be proficient in all skills associated with training.
? Must have a desire to maintain quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
? Good spoken and written English, good PC skills.
